| The
Storey Creek Golf Club provides an enjoyable, yet challenging
round of golf to players of any skills level. Each fairway is
framed by deep forest, creating a real sense of solitude and
tranquility, and players rarely catch a glimpse of other groups.
Storey Creek GC is comprised of five par 3's, five par 5's and
eight par 4's - not a typical par 72 mix. |
|
 |
|
| Amidst
dense coniferous and deciduous forest, with creeks meandering
alongside and dissecting fairways, Storey Creek is a sanctuary
for many species of flora and fauna. Throughout the year, deer
grazing or lazing on any given hole is a common sight. Scurrying
squirrels, woodpeckers tapping rhythmically, eagles soaring,
even the occasional bear with cubs will add to the enjoyment
of your round. |

Creek is home to not only indigenous wildlife, but a remarkable
salmon enhancement project as well. Starting in the man-made
pond along the 14th fairway and fed by natural run-off, some
5 000 to 10 000 salmon fry are introduced each year to mature
and then make their journey to the ocean through the labyrinth
of creeks, brooks and the streams that are an integral part
of the challenge that Storey Creek Golf Club presents. |

has nurtured the course to a steadily maturing and popular test
of one's golf skills - while still allowing golfers to enjoy
"a Course in Nature". |
