is a former Olympian, Canadian, Commonwealth and world medallist
in the 10-event decathlon.
A winner
of the Jack W. Davies Trophy as the Outstanding Canadian Track
& Field Athlete (1989 & 1991) and 3-time winner of the F.N.A.
Rowell Trophy for outstanding field athlete, Michael is currently
preparing for a career in financial services as well as doing
freelance commentating for CBC Television at various events
including the 2001 World Track & Field Championships and the
2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia.
