Sandy Hawley

Sandy Hawley is the greatest Canadian-born jockey ever, with over 6,400 wins to his credit. Hawley was only 16 years old and 105 pounds when he quit school, obsessed by the sport. In his first year of riding he won North America's top apprentice award, as well as being named Canada's leading jockey, a title he held for six straight years.
